V22 Catford Open Studio Event

So this Sunday I went on tour to another V22 building, this ones in Catford's Broadway Chambers.

I had a great time creating a Cat themed picture hunt alongside facilitating a "Funky Feline" Cat face decorating workshop! The Picture hunt has been a great success at

The Orpington Alternative Market as well as the Open Day's at the Old Library and Orpington Priory where my studio is based. The picture hunt is a perfect mechanism to guide people through the space finding all the character and then getting rewarded by some sweeties at the end, this means that no areas will get overlooked.

Obviously with its Catford location Cats and their associated phrases were at the core of the theme!

This checklist was created so all characters could be ticked off!

There was also a drop in session for Funky Feline Cat face decorating workshops where we used poscas and black foam board on a stick to make these super fun designs! Here are some of the demo ones I made in my studio

I created a guide so people could follow if they wish but their own expression was encouraged!

I was incredibly impressed with the results from all age groups and loved it when the parents joined in too! photographed at the right angle it really looked like the people were half cat, half human!

So glad to add the cats along with the butterflies and the bats! This a great activity for all ages, with a vibrant and bold take away to keep! The feedback was that it was really fun and participants were really pleased with the outcomes,
